Faculty Brief

In today’s world, we rely heavily on computing and technology to help with everything from product development to problem solving to security. The faculty of Information Technology offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Computer Science, Computer Networks & Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, and Data science & Artificial intelligence. We provide students with skills and knowledge to understand not only how a system works, but also how to make it work better. Majors in the information technology fields learn the skills to develop computer software, customize programs, build and maintain networks security, manage and safeguard information technology projects. Our faculty comprises an elite group of faculty members who enjoy a high level of theoretical and practical experience and who are distinguished for their achievements in their fields of specialization. The faculty members are also keen on utilizing their experiences by using the supportive teaching aids such as teaching halls and laboratories equipped with the latest devices, systems and technologies in addition to a library that includes the latest sources and references in the field of Information Technology. At AAU, we help students find their path and align their goals to prepare them for success. The Faculty of Information Technology programs are nationally recognized by Jordanian Accreditation and Quality assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
